joshie410
Hi, so i'm going to finish monkey madness soon. I decided I am going to range the demon. I am only 50 ranged tho. Should i use a magic bow with rune arrows, chinchompas, or an addy crossbow with the special tipped bolts? thanks
Rune_Reapr15
I remember doing MM at around 55ish range and using a magic shortbow with iron/steel arrows and it was pretty easy. I think I had mage pray on and maybe 10 lobs. He's pretty easy if you stay at a distance and range but he hits pretty hard if your prayer runs out. Just remember, you don't have to deal all of the damage. Just about half. The gnomes help you some. If it was me, I'd use addy crossbow with mith bolts. But magic bow with rune arrows + protect mage should do fine. My Private Chat is always on..Feel free to add me..=)
sammyboy894
Use the crossbow and mith bolt and bring 1 prayer potion with food just in case you need it, of course a quick tele would be a good emergency back up. I am pretty sure you wont have any problems though
Bratmaster0
since it is only one high level monster i think you should use the highest type of bolt and a crossbow. of course since bolts aren't that cheap , if you are low on budget , you might want to use broad bolts since they are sligly less stronger than adamant bolts (by 5 ranged strength) and you can even use a shield. an other suggestion i can give is that you use a recoil ring. that way , you will damage the monster if he hits you. good luck! 138 combat | 99 attack | 99 strength | 99 defense | 99 hitpoints | 99 prayer | 99 summoning | 2161 overall
