Questions for my Ranger

Featured Replies

I've been training my new Range char alot lately and now im considering getting his magic up to 55 so i can start alching and i wonder if Fire Bolting to 55 will work? im 37 magic atm and 1 def. I used the tip.it calc and getting 37-55 with fire bolt will cost me aprox. 600-700k, ive got 1.5m cash at the moment and i wonder if its worth it or if theres another good way except cursing to get me to 55 fast and not too expensive.

I also have another quick question; Is it worth it to get 40 defence at 80-85 range on my pure? im intending on staying pure range on the char until its maxed in range so i wont get any melee switch (thats why im not staying range pure, it wont cut it). I see alot of tanks at combat levels of 70-100 and they look and seems fun to play (they are really fun to watch when they fight other chars).

Thanks.

If I was you, I'd FoG to 43 mage, then superheat to 55 mage. In p2p, range tanks are definitely worth it. In f2p, stop at 40 def - 45 def if you want to be able to use the zerker shield.
