Kaminto
Has anyone heard of Crossfit? It's a specific fitness plan, they have several gyms across the country, and they host a 'Crossfit games' competition annually. My friend got into a few years back, and I've worked out with him off and on, but as my level of interest in fitness has progressed, I'm trying to adhere to it more. Just wondering if anyone else was aware of it,I'd recommend it, sadly, I don't know the philosophy inside and out, but I know the gist of it. http://www.crossfit.com/ http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs088.snc1/4916_1083807251699_1121880074_30217130_6645798_n.jpghttp://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs088.snc1/4916_1083807331701_1121880074_30217132_8110216_n.jpghttp://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs082.snc1/4556_1077204446633_1121880074_30199939_1684441_n.jpg This is said friend, by the way, after as I said, roughly 2 years since beginning, he's very good about doing his workouts as he should, and definitely strives to better himself. ValorOfOne
Crossfit (When don't properly) is the most intense training regimine that you can find in the civilian sector. However there seems to be drastic inconsistencies between the training programs that the providers offer. In short.. Go to your local gyms that offer Crossfit.- If the class doesn't involve screaming, crying and vomiting, It's not the crossfit you're looking for. Crossfit is intense, so much that you should litterly want to crawl from the training room.. Resist the urge to pass out when driving home.. And finally fall over 3 feet inside your door and take a nap next to your coffee table.

Crying, depends on how many posers are there.
Kaminto
I'd definitely agree that theres varying degrees of the program, and I much prefer the demanding portion of it. The first crossfit workout I did left me more exhausted than any other workouts I've done. Rawr.
assassin_696
I've done a few CF workouts over the summer, I love the philosophy but since I was on a strength training program I preferred CrossFit Football since it incorporates more strength training. CF workouts can be ridiculously tough, although http://www.sealfit.com/ looks a little more extreme, but I've never tried one of their workouts. Skeptical
I've heard that it was both intense and effective, but I really don't have the interest that a very structured workout requires.
