faxanadu81 Posted October 23, 2005 Share Posted October 23, 2005 I have recently noticed that you get more random events when you are just standing in one place doing something (Alching, Fletching, Stringing). They also appear when you either click to do something. For instance, you click on a rock, a rock golem might pop up. When I'm fishing, I click on the spot, either a troll and or other random event pops up. Lastly, I also have been seeing a lot of randoms right when I click on a teleport spell. Yesterday, when I clicked to telly to varrock, a dwarf popped up =]. This happens when you do most other things too. Say your chopping a yew down and right when you click on it is when you get a Tree Spirit. Never have I seen when I'm in the middle of chopping a tree down has a Tree Spirit and or any other random pop up. I'm just letting you know what has happened to me and I see a lot off of other people. I don't know if there has been another thread about this but I feel this is right. weasel10 Posted October 26, 2005 Share Posted October 26, 2005 I have made a "random event hunting system :P" I train in ice caverns for about 15-18 min without talking (except pms) or moving my camera. Then when 15-18 mins passed I attempt to tele and 99.9% I get an event. Usualy its a swarm or dwarf. A bunch of times when i was about to teleport somewhere the guy came up and gave me a box thing. Mabe there is a connection between the two, not just coincidence? 98% of teenagers have been drunk or around alcohol.
