Hidden Virus/Backdoor?

Hey,

So over the past few days, my computer has been getting progressively slower. Then yesterday my computer has a "Windows" warning that there may be infected material on my hardrive. So I updated my Spybot and Malware Bytes and scanned my compture with them. (At seperate times) both of them found multiple little adware, spyware and other malicous items, and were able to remove all sucessfully. However when I got back on the internet, one web page suddenly flashed a picture of a window explorer menu, which had my ip address, some BS anti virus program, and some other random stuff, then it quickly went back to the page I was on.(yahoo, so it wasnt a sketchy site) After that I reran my scanners and both found like another item or two tops, but again it was adware, not anything big.

 

Edit:(Posted before I wanted to)

So I ran the scanners in safe mode and both failed to find anything after that. But I'm not convinced the threat is gone because my computer still isn't working at full speed.

Have you tried a virus-specific application? Avira is free and has good detection rates.
