I'm looking for a way of going from 84 to 94 magic without spending too much. I don't mind losing money, I just don't wanna spend ridiculous amounts, at the same time I'd rather it didn't take till next year to do y'kno :P

So yeah, any suggestions are welcomed:)

Another way is by playing the Mage Training Arena mini-game.

Maging Aviansies could profit or come out in a 2gp - 3p/exp loss depending on method.

Superheat-Alch is decent (about 120k exp an hour I've heard).

Sting Jewelery is good, but pretty costly.

Normal Superheating Iron Ore is about 75k exp and its rather cheap.

 

At the moment i think your best options would be Aviansies or Superheat.

Regular superheating is 130k magic exp per hour, what gorg's going by is a slow, old average rate, but it recently got sped up by 33%. Do that to 86, unless you want cheap smithing exp superheating gold. Then just do Plank Make.

Superheating iron is 130k xp p/h? Is there some new method im missing? I tried it and didn't get anywhere near that.

It's due to the update to the spells which make it similar to alching (you can stack up your next cast). It was updated this week.

Superheating iron has been that fast for about 2-3 weeks, you just need to click every 1.8 seconds.

Ice bursting is not expensive. It's face-value is MEDIUM cost (for magic, at least), but when you factor in all the extra benefits other than magic xp, it's very, very cheap.
