Maging in Classic

RSC Relaunch!

I want to train magic, because I despise not being able to teleport. The trouble is that there is no runecrafting in Runescape Classic.

1. I assume I need to get runes from the rune shops, right? Aubury and Betty and whatnot? So I need cash. How can I get cash without having to trade? (I hate trading, and everyone else is too nooby to have cash to trade me anyway.) When I was a noob I remember going to Falador and mining and smithing in the Dwarven Mine and selling the stuff to the store (haha), but that would be harder with the three turns of combat before I can flee from the scorpions.

2. I also assume I'm going to need to use combat magic. Does Classic have elemental staves and autocasting?

3. Once I do get to some reasonable magic level, where can I get law runes? Please tell me there's some way other than monster drops...

I'm almost certain there is no autocasting in RSC.

I believe some shops stock laws.

No autocast, but there are fire/water/earth/air staves

Runes mainly came from shops, I think you can get laws from the magic guild shop

As to making money without trading... Really there's no way to do this in either rsc or rs2. Mining or fishing would be the easiest ways to make money. You could fish on karamja (maybe cook the fish too) then sell to general store there.
