Why are d claws so expensive and so wanted? whats so good about them?

Mainly used for Pvp since the special is useful for rushing. People can hit 80's with the spec so that would explain the price tag.

^That's why. It has an animation delay during it's spec (or at least it had it), which causes targets to get killed while they are about 5 squares away from you, often confusing/shocking them. Also, it is fairly easy to get an opponent below half of their HP (from full HP) with two consecutive specs.
