squidsquash
Yeah, I I stopped renewing my membership and I plan on being F2P for awhile. So I basically have two questions 1. I heard waters are the best way to make money from RC in F2P, Im looking to get my level from 58-60(atleast) the most profitable way possible. What's the fastest method for making waters? 2. Mining can be amazing for money making, but my level sucks (67) I plan to work on it while making money (no power mining) so basically should I mine coal in the guild or gold in the crafters guild then tele to fally? Abc1230
1. You can use water altar tabs from GOP2. If you don't want to power mine, I guess coal is the way to go :/ YouTube
Zaaps1
Gold > coal in all cases if not mining for xp. ~It's Super Effective! Youmu
1. If you're looking for cash, do Water Runes. Use the cabbage-port to shorten your journey. Otherwise, do Earths or Fires. Teletabs are not worth it if you can't find a decent GOP team. 2. If you do not want to powermine, I guess coal in the Mining Guild is the way to go. For money, gold definitely beats all ores except runite. lex372
Both mining and rc are very hard skills in f2p. Waters with GOP teletabs are indeed the best money from rc in f2p (but not that good and bad exp). If you're looking for realy money in f2p, you should train mining mining and banking iron ore can be up to 18 - 20k exp an hour and 80 - 100k gp an hour. And once you got lvl 85, you can make about 500k an hour at the runite mine. I would say, get an pickaxe and mine all the way. ;)
qeltar
If you're planning to continue playing intensively consider, whether downgrading membership really makes sense. To save a few dollars a month, you're going to spend *dozens* of extra hours grinding away at boring tasks. It is probably a better move to keep membership, play more efficiently, and find a way to earn a few extra bucks. Sanitys_Requiem
Iron is good to mine if you want faster XP with a little less cash, but Coal is really your only alternative if you don't want the walk from Falador to the Crafting Guild seeing as how you can't use the shortcut anymore. And as for RC, I did Earth's a while back on my skiller and made a pretty penny, though it's a tad slower, it's less tedious seeing that the walk is shorter. Enjoy being F2P! Not only for this purpose, but for all-round effectiveness. It's a great way to escape combat if you need to, and the alchs/run restore are very useful. Not to mention it's the only usable ring in f2p anyway. ~It's Super Effective!
