Looking for a Clan Community

Hey there,

 

I'm looking for a mature community with an active clan chat.

 

I am currently not in a clan, and have not been in one for almost a year now. The last group I was involved in was G.U.I.L.D.S., which had a lot of fun and relaxed players in it. It wasn't a clan in a strict meaning of the word, but was more of a place to hang out and talk in the cc and on the clan forums, with occasional events. Sadly, it's not around anymore, but I'm looking for something similar to that experience.

 

The reason that I specify a community instead of a typical clan is that I don't have set playing times, which sometimes makes it difficult for me to attend mandatory events. In addition, there are many activities in RS that I enjoy doing, so I'd like a group of people who share that broad range of interests. Minigames are a particular passion of mine, especially the team-based events such as Castle Wars, Stealing Creation, Soul Wars, and Trouble Brewing (sadly, that last one is still relatively unknown). The only thing that I won't do is PvP; it simply doesn't appeal to me.

 

Having gotten a Woodcutting cape as my first 99 in mid-October, I'm currently working toward achieving 99 Magic. While these 2 are my favorite skills, my least favorite would have to be firemaking. Despite this and some other dislikes, a long term goal of mine is to get all skills above 80, which I hope to have completed by the end of next year.

 

Having been around for a while, I like to think that I have quite of bit of advice to give, and I'm always willing to help someone out. Stats can be found in my sig, and I'd be happy to answer any further questions.

Ancient Legion (AL) was founded by two brothers, Lamb Bug and Golden arm42, in April 2008. Ancient Legion started out small, with a handful of members, but since our opening, we've become a major force in the low-req clan world. Ancient Legion hosts a wide range of events. Our most common events are Clan Wars, PVP trips, Skillathons and roach hunts, but we also have many less common events, such as boss hunting (KBD, Chaos Elemental, GWD), minigame events (Fist of Guthix and Stealing Creation are popular), and interclan duel tournaments. Members are also encouraged to host their own events. All in all, we have 4-6 events/week. Each week, we also have a contest, where members pick a particular skill for that week's theme. Whoever get the most XPs in that skill during the week is the winner, and he/she gets the "Elite Skiller" rank and a shiny new graphic to add to their collection.

Introduction:

 

The Sleeping Dragons was founded in January 29th, 2005 by Kanchellsis and LostNSpace. The clan was originally an anti-rpk clan which meant that it during its raids into the wilderness, it would help protect the people who werent in the wilderness for pking purposes.

Ranks

The Sleeping Dragons uses a ranking system that represents how active a member is in the clan and how positive they are. The entry level rank is called a Hatchling. These are members who have had their application approved and just joined the clan. These members must prove themselves. They remain at this rank for a minimum of 4 weeks. During this time they must attend events and post on the forums regularly.( Move here from below)

 

Promotions

 

Promotions allow members to move up in rank and allow a member more privileges. The higher the rank, the more forums you'll be able to have access to. Also, achieving certain ranks allow you to participate in more forum activities, such as Wyrm Elections.

 

To be promoted, it takes devotion. So long as you meet the minimal requirements of 2 events a month and posing on the forums each week, you are eligible to move up one rank until you reach the ranking of adult dragon. Surpassing the requirements, helping other members, and participating in discussions increase your chances of a promotion. Suspensions, warnings, or a person's attitude can have a negative effect.

If the above didn't way you, I'm sure this will. What makes us different from other clans, event wise, is our new "points" system called RAWR. You get gems for every level you gain, and after you've accumulated enough gems, you can buy some really cool things with them. The members of Blasphemy would like to believe that Blasphemy is a clan like none other. We have a brave and resisting history and now we want to take clanning one step further. The main aspects such as community, organization and activity are something which every clan needs to have. But with Blasphemy, we like to take things to another level. Try out new things, different types of events, completely new tactics which are completely experimental, train members up to have confidence and know what they have to do, understand the real life duties people have and still try and sort out active times for them. Another important thing is to be real, and thats what Blasphemy is. Blasphemy is a clan that has heart and a passion to make an unforgettable mark. Our community enables the first step to our goals, were a clan that has great respect for one another. In Blasphemy, we really do feel like a family, thats why we dont just let anyone in whether their level 126 or not, we like to know how their personality is like as corruption is in the past for us. Like mentioned, were built strongly on organization, thats organization on and off the wildy. In the wildy, you see like nearly every clan doing the same thing, the same tactics, I mean they do it but its never that perfect and for us just too repetitive. Runescape can be incredibly exciting if you have awesome imagination, charisma and the willingness of hearts to try out the different plans and tactics in the wildy. For example, controlled split piles, something which no clan has mastered, and is still something which Blasphemy is engaging to bring practice within it. We make sure that every man/woman in the wildy is well aware of what they have to do, and that their confident and ready.

 

Now, most clans are built and revolve around having events, otherwise what's the point in clans? Blasphemy has a range of events, and our highest priority within them is to make them work and be successful. We want people to cherish the experience they have, and in the end, enjoy themselves.

• F2P - We do a variety of F2P events, as Blasphemy is a F2P based clan. Clan Wars is really fun, especially knowing that you can run into any clan, knowing the popularity that it has with clans.
  
• P2P - We also like to do P2P events such as Fight Pits, GodWars, Castle Wars, KBD etc.
  
• Wars - This is the heart of Blasphemy's system. We train to war, to defeat other clans who set upon us a challenge. We have huge aims, and to earn what's yours, you must be willing to fight.
  
• Fun Events - We have plentiful of these, Achievement Parties, Skill Events, Unique Events and many more. Aims of Fun Events are to do something different for a change, at the same time to hopefully rep up Blasphemy by showing happiness within ourselves.
  

We try to do official events as much as we can, but in realness we have at least one "unofficial" event EVERY day. This usually happens in our IRC channel, where clans might declare an instant 30 min prep mini. This shows our family is 24/7, and we like to keep in touch whenever we play runescape.

 

The aims of Blasphemy are always high and ambitious in an observer's eye, but to us it's something that we all cherish to complete. Things like making Blasphemy the most "unique" clan amongst all, don't know how we'll do it but one day if fate goes our way, we will be the first. Another aim is to create a brotherhood community, as mentioned above, but we want to keep this and make it stronger and more efficient to survive in the future. Final aim I'll mention is that Blasphemy does one day want to reach the top, and eventually be known and referred to as, positive, courageous and always existent.

Clan History:

 

For a brief description of our clan, it is founded in 2005 October and opened in november by our founders and build KCR up. We fought well in every battles of fight and won fights of Pk. This is Kurimao Clan Rulers

 

Let me give you a quick history of this clan that we loved and support for the past months or years that we have been to.

As you may already know KCR was formerly known as Kurimao Clan Rulers. It was a dream come true to the people who founded KCR they are: Jobac_s, Rickshaw, Ramcham, Babyjoy, Fred Tracey, Hdrunescape3, Gothikfreak, and Pen gee. They built the first website on Nov 18, 2005 and formally opened to members on January of 2006. The original clan cape color was blue and eventually changed to orange when tm our alliance decided to also have their team cape same color as ours so to avoid confusion during pk trip we decided to change to orange cape. The original home worlds for f2p is 93 and for p2p was 26 but since the latter world became p2p we changed it to world 88.

Originally Kcr was divided into 3 mini groups namely: Apollo which was handled by Hd and assisted by Pen gee; Zeus by jobac and ramcham and the last but not the least Poseidon handled by rick and fred tracy.

 

The first wars of kcr was very promising because we had never been defeated by the clans that we are vsing before. We defeated Pinoy Pride Knights on our very first official PVP war. If my memory serves me right when kcr opened there are 2 other pinoy clans that existed in rs they are The Flipscape Clan and PPK. The first international clan we fought officially and defeated was Death Alliance. Back then warring was really different, no ts and clan chat for organization but still we were able to make a difference.

As jagex had decided to remove the old wildy kcr had its very worst times and eventually closed on april 2008 but had its last official war against Fatal Premonition and then kcr became a quite community with few people visiting the official website. Then the founders decided to reopen it on Oct of the same year and changed the clan name into Kurimao Clan Reborn to emphasize the renewed hope that comes with the new name. Since then Kcr had been growing having more events and making sure people enjoy their stay on the clan.

10 December 2007, KCR starting to fall when wildy is gone and clan war is a new update. january 2008 trade limit came on and leaders of KCR quitted KCR and assigned new leaders. April 2008, KCR closed and became as a community since there is too much inactives. On October 2008, PVP is back and founders decided to reopen KCR but name it as Kurimao Clan Reborn. Thats where KCR is back in action!
