Da_Latios
Okay so I'm supposed to be making a video and a screen backdrop for a school event, so I came up with this last night: Full-size image is 1920x1200 [hide=Full-size 1920x1200][/hide] Now at the school event this is going to have nice text all over it, but that comes later.Feel free to use this in your renders or whatever. Just a 'meh' project for me. Chuggy
I like the idea of space and stars. However, I think some of the stars look kind of blurry. I think you may have added noise and then Gaussian blurred? Also, the green-ish C4D in the top-right doesn't really fit in my opinion. Other than that, good job :)
Da_Latios
The stars are intentionally blurred; makes them shine. As for the green C4D... what do you mean? I didn't render that in an external program, it's just Photoshop CS4. Oh and, this is what it looks like when I add text to it and animate it in Sony Vegas: IRC Nick: Hiroki | 99 Agility | Max Quest Points | 138 CombatBandos drops: 20 Hilt | 22 Chestplate | 21 Tassets | 14 Boots
Chuggy
I don't think it really gives them a shine to be honest. This is what I mean by the green C4D -
Nadril
Why is it every vague object is a C4D? Meh, pet peeve of mine. I don't like the colors of this at all. I'd recommend checking out some of Greg Martin's work or something to get a better feel for space art. I used to do it back in the day but I've long since forgotten anything that could be useful to help you out there. Also its too dense looking, and the blur doesn't really help out. Shiny
I agree with Nad, except I've never done a space scene. I do like the video though. Just my input. Oh, maybe learn how to create a couple of planets, and when in space, be afraid of the lens flare. Be very, very afraid.
Rainy_Day
I think it lacks a decent focal point. It is simply stars, and a planet/moon. There are more interesting ways this could have been handled (think of all the cool looking things in the universe!). I also find that the abundance of dots (stars) spaces me out (mind the phrase!).
