December 5, 200916 yr So yeah: I got a budget of 9k and I'd like to train my ranged; I can either buy 1,600 of bronze arrows or 4,500 bronze bolts. In such situation, what would be the best to buy?Cheers. ^^
December 5, 200916 yr Hm well to me it sounds like the bolts are a better option, as there are a lot more of them... so they're going to last you a lot longer.Also something you might want to look into is ranging Minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security, they drops lots of arrows.

December 5, 200916 yr I would go with the arrows, as the crossbows in f2p are just sad. Even though you may get more bolts for your money, you will be able to get your goal range level quicker with arrows and be able to make up your money in a shorter amount of time than if you used bolts.

December 6, 200916 yr Keep in mind that it is VERY hard to buy bronze and iron arrows now. You're best off gathering arrows yourself. Kill minotaurs with melee, until you get at least 1k iron arrows. Afterwards, with your maple shortbow and green d'hide, range the minotaurs, while collecting every single iron arrow drop. Why shouldn't you buy arrows? Two words: personalized shops. They ridiculously decreased the supply of arrows, which made them unbuyable, almost. December 6, 200916 yr Author Yeah I noticed that. xPLike last time on my main, I bought wanted to buy 100k arrows from the GE and like maybe a month later, not a single arrow came to me. >_>And it's not like I've been active on Runescape when the personalized shop came into being. xP
