Well, I recently decided to start getting my terrible construction up, but I'm a bit lost as to where the best place to woodcut teaks/mahoganies is. I'd preferably like to have an available bank, but I've heard that the Tai bo Wanna cutting area works pretty well.

Tai Bwo place with a BoB and like 10k trading sticks works fine. You can bank with the guy to the west; costs like 200 per invent I think, but they are 7gp each.

To reduce the costs of trading sticks, buy mass amounts of cut opals, jades, or red topazes (depending on availability on GE and the cost per stick ratio. Check out the rswiki for exchange rates), note them, and sell them to Gabooty. You'll almost always get sticks at a cheaper rate. However, I'm not sure if the prices have been affected by the shops update or if selling mass numbers of gems deteriorates the stick return since I haven't done this in a while.
