Inflation

Featured Replies

It seems that the Runescape economy has undergone a lot of inflation since I last played 1.5 years ago. For example, my fury went from 4.5m to 6.5m and Torag's set went from 1.5m to 4.5m. If I stop playing until the summer after winter break (in two weeks) should I invest my money in armor? I'm worried because Guthan's spear went from 5-6m to 1m in the same period.

There's inflation on almost everything but your best bets go to weapons and "random" items like a robin hood hat or achers ring, berserker ring, etc. I wouldn't invest in a fury, as jagex is going to release a tokkul update in the early 2010s which might skyrock a fury, but might as well make it crash :P
