i'm doing the achievements diary but i don't want the prayer level that i'll gain by doing the restless ghost 'coz i'm making a pure.

is the extra prayer level worth it or should i just forget about the ring?

Thats up to you and what kind of pure you want. I don't like pures so i just did it to have the ring. You can always get a decent prayer level and use the protect spells later on.

A pure is a pure -> no prayer.

 

But how usefull would completing the diary be? And what is the fun/use of a pure anyways? Make the decision. In my opinion, pures are characters that exclude themselves willingly from certain content of the game to gain some benefit over others in another aspect of the game, that I personally don't enjoy.

 

So for me, get the prayer levels. A few wouldn't mind that much anyways, I guess.

Dude, its 125 xp. Is 1 prayer level gonna screw up your character development that much?

 

Besides, the ring only gets good with #3, which requires Dragon Slayer which pops up up your Def and Str levels (not to mention Atk and Mag from getting the 32 QP)
