Got the fan controller sorted today and I jsut say I am rather stunned!

Fan 1 - Top 140mm Exhaust Fan: Running about 21/22 C 50% Fan speed

Fan 2 - Top Rear Exhaust: Running at 20/21 C 50% fan speed

Fan 3 - GPU side intake: 19/20 C 40%

Fan 4 - Lower (currently empty) harddrive bays: 17/18 C 40%

Fan 5: Upper hardrive bays: 18/19 C 40% fan speed.

Admittedly it is bloody freezing here, but we have heating on and what not; so all in all I'm pretty pleased with running at about 20C

That seems like it would cost more energy, to be honest.

You'd think; but I specifically bought low power fans.

And the psu in this desktop is lower wattage that I ever had b4, its economical power wise comapred to my old desktop ever with all the fans running at full pelt

The PSU wattage is irrelevant. The PSU only draws what it requires, if you need 150W to power your machine it will draw the same regardless of whether you have a 300W PSU or a 1000W PSU.

It is irrelevant in that context yes; but is completely relevant in that my old desktop had a bigger wattage and pretty much used the entirety of said wattage.
