Ipod Touch problems.

Alright. So, I get my ipod for christmas, and play around with it. I download the 20Q app, go to play it, and it doesn't work. It appears for a split second, then returns to the main menu. Before, one other game worked, after that, no apps at all work. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the memory was never released, which I expect is due to a coding error or conflict. If you do a hard restart of the iPod do you regain functionality of other applications other than the one that created the problem? You can do this by holding the home button and the sleep button until the device powers off. Note that the "Slide to Turn Off" screen will appear-ignore this and keep holding.

If not, my apologies to the developer, as it would then be a problem in the kernel or the Core OS and can be solved by backing up and restoring your device.

I tried what you said first, laura, and no difference. I'll try restoring it, but I have to download the new software update first, which, thanks to my dialup internet, will take about 16 hours. I've heard the software update will usually fix the problem by itself, but I wanted to avoid the download. Thanks anyways, but I guess I have to do it. *Will leave internet on overnight*
