January 9, 201016 yr Kind of embarassing to make this thread so soon after the last one, but here goes. I just finished making a vid, and in the timeline, it works alright. However, when I publish it, a large amount of the video keeps its audio, but visually, it's just a black screen. Any help? I've tried making it into different file types, different sizes to compress it to, etc, but nothing seems to work. Thanks. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
January 9, 201016 yr This happens to me too. It is simply an error in Windows Movie Maker. I forgot how I fixed it, but try playing it in WinAmp. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic."-Joseph Stalin
January 9, 201016 yr Author Well, I looked up WinAmp. Can it publish vids? Because this one is for Youtube. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
January 9, 201016 yr Winamp is another media player and organizer, not a video editing and production software. He was basically telling you to play the video in a different video player then the windows default one. [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
January 9, 201016 yr I've had this problem a few times. Sometimes uninstalling and removing the entire folder and then reinstalling works. Most of the times, I've found reinstalling XVID, DIVX and other visual drivers works as well. January 9, 201016 yr Author Anyone know where I can find a walkthrough? I'm worried about deleting the wrong thing. To quote the great Gordan Freeman: "I hate computers! Why do they always blow up when I use them?" Get back here so I can rub your butt.
