January 11, 201016 yr Ok so i have 156 abby spec task and i dont plan on skipping these as their really good money and fairly fast. I dont have alot of money to use on p pots so im hoping that my setup and method will be enough. Setup:Helm: SlayerAmulet: Salve(e)Plate: Blk d'hideLegs:Blk d'hideBoots:white mystic(higher mage def than snakeskin boots)Gloves:BarrowsCape:Zammy cape(Mage arena)Weapon:WhipShield: unholy bookRing:Wealth Total Mage defence: +108 Ill be using a Bunyip and i will be carrying p pots just incase i need them but i would perfer not to use them unless i absolutley have to.
January 11, 201016 yr I think macaw would be better than a bunyip for the improved herb drops. Personally, I don't mind banking a few times during my task. It's not a long trip, and I can keep more of the herbs I get.
January 11, 201016 yr Author yea but bunyip means less food used and more profit as well so i would need to make less trips to restock on food than i would have to without the yip.

What you have is great, except i would just wear the Dragon Boots and use a Rune Defender instead of what you have. They may give a negative magic boost, but it isn't that much and compared to how good they are offensively it shouldn't be much of a problem seeing as you will kill them faster. Also don't wear the Salve (e) with the slayer helmet, wear a Fury if you have one. Idk how well glory matches up though. January 11, 201016 yr I guess what you have is good. I usually just pray mage even though I could probally tank them. I have never had a loss with praying at them.

January 11, 201016 yr Author yes but your also higher mage lvl than me which means you have a higher mage defence so you would use less food seeing as their attack is mostly mage based. With my setup i only have 108 mage def and without a bunyip or p pots they would pretty much wipe the floor with me.
