I saw this video recently and thought it was pretty cool, but I have absolutely no idea how it was done.

It doesn't look like a simple slow shutter capture, and so I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.

I'm sure a lot of others would like to know as well.

From the "Perfect" and glow-y looks of the lights, I believe it has to be done in post-production in 3D or whatever.

 

or at least they look a still image with a really slow shutter capture, then just animated the streaks to the video with the people in it to match the movement of their hands.

I think it could also have to do with the Adobe After Effects effect: Light scribe (or something like that)

I don't really remember the name of the effect but I think it's that effect.
