Apologies in advance if this belongs in the "Tech & Computers" section.

 

Recently, in the past two days, whenever I try to click a show/hide tag by another poster, it doesn't show anything for me and I can't even open up the smileys, bullet list, numbered list, bold, etc buttons while I type this when I click on them. Literally nothing happens. It's like clicking on normal font. I'm not aware of any forum updates/maintenance and it's why I waited a short amount of time to post. If it helps, here's some info that I hope will let somebody figure out why it's happening to (seemingly) only me:

 

-Most updated Java. Version 6 update 17

-Windows 7

-Most updated Mozilla Firefox browser. Version 3.5.7 - I have restarted browser and even restarted laptop because of updates

 

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not exactly 100% sure, but I know they've been having problems with the show/hide tags since the forum switchover a while back, and some posts haven't been fixed. It's just a board issue, I'm sure.

I think there are posters who are able to see the show/hide tags since I've been browsing the forums and I've seen replies and multi-quotes to posts with show/hide tags.

I think something is missing, deleted, or modified on my computer.

Nope, I click on the "show" button and nothing happens at all. It doesn't expand or collapse. No error messages, popup, the little banner saying I have to download something, none of that. Although...I see the message when I quote.

I'm not sure why it's not working then, but hopefully we've given enough for someone else to figure it out.
