Mith Dragons task.

I was wondering what setup + invo ill need to use to kill 6 mithril dragons for my slayer task? Please dont suggest i skip them because i dont have the point and i refuse to burthrope this task.

i manage to kill 6 by this setup and invy:

 

head: slayer mask

cape: quest cape (net attempt will be with legends cape tho)

neck: glory

arrow: none

weapon: leaf bladed sword

body: verac top

shield: anti dragon fire shield

legs: verac legs

gloves: barrows

boots: dragon

ring: life

 

invy:

 

1 antifire pot

3 pray pot

1 titan

scrolls

super att

super str

rest sharks

 

EDIT: i see you have 74 summ, best is to take tort full with food then i think

My general setup is usually

Slayer helm

Karils top and bottom (or black d-hide)

snakeskin boots

anti-dragon shield (Or dfs, I use dfs as I have it)

rune crossbow

Ava's device

ruby bolts equipped/diamond in inv

fury and ring of wealth.

 

In inv I generally carry

1 dose antifire per mith (6mith -> 2 4-dosers)

1 range pot

1 extreme defence

2-3 pray doses per mith, round upwards. (Last task was 9 miths, think I had 5 pots)

1 house teletab

1 terrorbird pouch (remember you cannot bring a familiar through the whirlpool, only through fairy rings)

Rest of inv good food (sharks, tuna taters, rockfish)

 

I generally pray ranged and use ruby bolts until the drag is about half health, then switch to diamond. I use the terrorbird to help me carry home d-bones and mith bars. Record is 9 miths in one run (biggest task I've had) and I probably could have killed 1-2 more that time. There may be other and better setups/methods but this one works for me atleast. Good luck :)

Ty Siob and jij , i've never tried to range them before and i've only killed 1 mith dragon for the relleka diary i believe it was and that took a while just to melee kill that 1 (even though i was way lower stats than i am now)

When I killed them a lot I wore:

 

Karils Top/Skirt

Veracs Helm

Then everything else the same as Sio except I only bring diamond bolts.

 

For my inventory I bought, 1 Ranged potion, 1 super defence, 1 antifire, 5 prayer potions, Bunyip, house tabs, games necklace then the rest of the space was sharks.

 

This was before you could bring a familiar there so that saves two spaces. I'd stand in melee range with protect melee on, eagle eye, and steel skin.

 

Using this method I'd kill at least 6 a trip, most I ever killed was 14.

 

I'd drink one dose of antifire and range/defence potions at the same time.

 

Although my stats are higher than yours, using that method you should be able to do it in one trip, especially if you got a shark drop.

 

I don't recommend using ruby bolts, while they do a lot of damage, they also hurt you a lot which shortens the length of the trip and really doesn't give a huge benefit (you lose an extra inv spot too).

ok my first trip using the melee method was a bust as i was only able to get 1 1/2 kills before having to teleport out. Im going to go again this time using the range method so here will be my setup.How many diamond(e) bolts will i need to kill 5 mithril dragons?

Idk as i haven't ranged then yet, but my next task i will.

 

Here is how i did it (and was able to kill 15 in one trip):

LBS + Antidragon Shield

Black D'hide Top

Black D'hide Chaps

Dragon Boots

Beserker Ring

 

Inv:

2-3 Super Attacks

2-3 Super Strengths

Unicorn Stallion Pouch

Healing Aura Scrolls

Enhanced Excalibur

About 10 Prayer Potions

 

I had Protect From Melee and Piety on while killing them. Healed when i needed to. Since you don't have the Unicorn best thing would be to bring food in a Tort using the Fairy Rings, if u can use that fairy ring. Otherwise you can try and do the drop trick ti bring the extra food.

Just do them lolz, they're very good money and you'll get better so you kill them faster

i dont think i would call them good money considering on that task i lost about 250k in supplies from failed trips.
