Best PCI Video Card?

Over the past few weeks I've been looking for a new video card to upgrade to from my crappy Intel Extreme Graphics. The only problem is my PC only has PCI slots, which is completly [developmentally delayed]ed considering it is pretty new. I should have realized this before I bought it and got a PC with an AGP or PCI-express slot, but hindsight is always 20/20 I suppose. But anyway, I want the best PCI card avalible, but I'm not sure which one to choose. Right now I'm considering these two:

I'd like your opinions on these cards, and if there are better ones out there please let me know.

Edit: I'll be leaving on vacation in 2 hours, so it'll be a week befoer I can reply.

Yeah don't buy from stores/shops, they give you crappy Mobos with PCI slots.. =x

5200 is what I have (PC is nearly 2 years old plus I bought from a shop :P)

Its an alright card, works with most new games still.

5200/5500 came out the same time as far as I've been told, but 5500 is up in the series so I'd thought you'd get a better FPS etc on it(As far as I know they should be better for different things). Its worth the buy for the dollar extra.

Go with the 5500.

i wouldn't bother .. just save up some more money and get a new motherboard and a pci-e graphics card... PCI graphics cards transfer data too slow so unless your only going to play runescape and old games get the 5500 but if u want graphics card that can run the newest games out today.. i would get a new motherboard cpu and graphics card.

The 5200 has a dvi out which is ually very important to me. More monitors the better ^_^ Really I can not suggest one card over another to you. I do not know what your looking for in a card. When you say 'best' hmm that is a point of view. Mabye 'best' for me requires a dvi output and in that case it would be the 5200. Or mabye I need OpenGL 1.5 not 1.4 in that case it would be the 5500. I would say if I was looking for a pci graphic card I be looking for the cheapest one. because well they would all be doing the same thing for me. In CLI or in Runescape, nothing big there.

I have a 5200 and I'm playin some new games that come out, take Call of duty 2 for instance.

I don't 100% think you know what your on about =P theres playing games, then having a PC to take the rip and makes you able to do more things like jumps etc (On CoD).

I have a pci graphics card (raedon 9250) and it runs Half Life 2 just fine at a decent setting. And getting a new motherboard and graphics card would probably be way too much.
