Ok currently I am leveling up my magic and decided with my small cash pile to buy runes for fire strikes. I did some math that does not make sense and I want to make sure I did it right or find out where I messed up at.

 

First I have enough runes for 1 ,178 casts of fire strike. I am training at White Knight's in Falador whose HitPoints are 52.

 

Now for one cast of Fire Strike I will get a minimum of 11.5 exp. The max amount of exp I can with one Fire Strike is 27.5 exp.

 

If I did my math right this means that I will get 704,444 exp minimum or 1,684,540 exp maximum. This does not sound right.

Please help clear up any issues or confirm that this is infact the true total exp I can earn.

You should get 13547 minimum, I think you multiplied something by the knight's hp, which you shouldn't have done.

11.5*1178 = 13,547

 

27.5*1178 = 32,395

Okay now I see what I did. I did mutiply the base exp by the Knight's Hp. I forgot the crucial part that it does not take 52 hits to kill the knight but 52 damage.

On top of that, you forgot that you don't have the runes to kill 1178 knights; you have the runes to cast 1178 fire strikes.
