OldDucky
Ok, so I dabbled around with different things on Gimp. Still not sure how to use a render with a background, so I had to find any kind of transparent render. Anyone have any suggestions on how I could use non-transparent renders? ~ HYT Chat Rules (Click Here): Read before entering the chat. ~| Former Clan Chronicle Editor | Former Clan Improvement Member| Former TET Member |
mixand
It's cute :3Try to make the character blend more into the picture though and not seem like it's just a cut and paste. For example, not making the image in the middle, but on to the side or maybe not the whole image in the shot, "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel AdamsMy new site. [bETA]

rangeor
Probably your biggest issue that you seemed to have fixed with the second version is the fact that your background harshly contrasted with your render. Try to make sure the colors and the movement of the background complement your render, rather than work against it. If you do want to have heavily contrasting themes, work them into both the render and the background. As for blending the render, try smudging/using motion blurs to give the background good flow. Then duplicate it, move it above your render layer, and erase some of it so that it looks like the background is some sort of fluid that is passing through your render, if you get what I mean.
