January 31, 201016 yr Is there any way to get from my (lamentable) 57 Ranged to 60 fairly cheaply and quickly? I really want to do Mourning's End (1) and it's the only requirement I can't meet... Since there really is no trustworthy boost for ranged (Do stews boost it? Too risky anyway) I'm forced to train it, and I really don't know how. I've picked up that yaks work but I tried it with blue d'hide, neitiznot helm, and Zanik's crossbow, but it seems really slow. I would use knives but they're sort of unbuyable for some reason. January 31, 201016 yr you could boost it with a range pot..but i dont think you can boost for mep1 other then that just use steel darts at yaks DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
January 31, 201016 yr You could also send some penguin points into your range, just another alternative. But yaks is going to be your best bet, second best option would probably be caged ogres imo.

January 31, 201016 yr A trick with the cannon is that if you are not getting hit by any monster, the cannon will attack EVERY monster it can, even if it's single combat! In that sense, every area is effectively "multi-combat" for the cannon, provided you can get to a safespot. So to cannon lessers, go any place with a few lesser demons and go into a safespot. You can proceed to range the lessers while your cannon fires away. ~It's Super Effective!
