Why has all of my music "organised" itself?

Featured Replies

I went to my music folder, and all of my tracks have been placed into folders with the artist name, i didn't do this, nor do I want it like this as it [bleep]s with the way I like my music organised. How can I stop this and is there anyway it can be reset so I don't have to manually move all the files out of the folders myself?

Any help appreciated.

What program do you use for your music? ie. iTunes, WMP, etc

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

iTunes, but I used WMP and imported my whole library for use with my XBOX 360.

iTunes has an option to do this, in preferences under Advanced tab, the option is "Keep iTunes media folder organized". When you import media into iTunes it copies it into folders.

Thanks, i've disabled it. Now how can I get all my music out of the folders without doing it manually?
