Ermy Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 When I bought this computer it came with windows vista but I upgraded to windows 7 in about November, now my graphics card has slowly developed shadows or ghosts coming off the screen, this picture explains best. [hide][/hide] Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to fix it, I've removed the drivers and reinstalled them and that sometimes works. egbert_o_foo Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 First, check the manufacturer's website (both computer and the video chipset/card builder) for updated software. If there is none, or if installing it doesn't help, try using a different monitor to exclude the possibility of monitor failure. If that doesn't work, replace the graphics card. My guess is that there's more chances of it being the screen than anything else, so I would do what egbert said and try on another screen, or at least check the connections to see if it's all plugged correctly.
