Tafkan
Was thinking of killing some, does the salve amulet (e) affects them though? Zaaps1
No guide on Vyrewatches that I've ever read has mentioned bringing a Salve (e), so I'd say no, they don't count. ~It's Super Effective! Tafkan
That's pretty much what I thought too, but tip.it's bestiary still lists them under undead. Is it an error on their part then? Aslan
I'd personally take something that gives a good pray boost instead of the salve.
Sy_Accursed
It's pretty obvious they don't count as undead when you think about it logically.Undead is a group of monsters that have died and become re-animated hence they are not alive, as they died; but they are not dead so they are un dead. Vampires drink the blood of the living, or inject the living with their own blood to infect them and turn them into vampires. Hence the victim never died, vampires are immortal but they are still alive.Plus in rs terms the fact u can use ivandis staff/flail in unison with guthix balance potion to cure them and turn them back into humans clearly displays the fact they are not dead. EDIT:Of course in terms of mythological beasts Vampires are still grouped as undead. As in that sense it just genrically means those who aren't properly alive eg they are immortal or previous dead. But the salve ammy takes undead in the literal sense of something dead whihc has become undead whihc rules out vampires. The thing is, just because something is undead doesn't mean the Salve gives you a bonus, Barrows Brothers, for example. ~It's Super Effective!
