SubtleKilling
I've heard the new quest is damn hard but I'd really like the cape to help with slayer. If you don't think my levels are good enough what do you think I should I work on? Stats are in sig. Thanks. EDIT: I know I don't have the stats to actually start the quest but I'll be getting them shortly B)
glasscube
I did it at 92 HP, 85 Def, 96 Range, 71 prayer. Used a full tort of brews and about 12 brews in my inventory rest normal rests / super restores. I had about 4 or 6 brews left can't remember. Melee will probably work better for you though. Jabawoki13
It should be easy for you... I did it with 82-84 att/str/def/hp (cant remember exact levels), 78 range, 92 magic, and the same pray/summon levels as you (It took me 6 tries in total) I did range with ruby and diamond bolts, wore high magic defense armour, with decent melee defence (black dragonhide etc). Also wore snakeskin boots, normal spirit shield, glory ammy, helm of neitiznot, rune xbow and barrows gloves Used brews and super restores Not sure how it would work with melee...never tried it Achievement DiariesCompleted: Lumbridge, Falador, Seers, Varrock, Fremennik and Karamja Finished Hard: Ardougne Music Tracks - 703/704Nomad killed at 114 combat Slayer drops: Black Mask x2 Clue scroll rewards: Guthix Platebody - 900k, Guthix F Helm 1mil, Bandos Kite - 2.3mil
Mischlings
You shouldn't have too much trouble -- I did it with slightly higher levels. If you have full void melee and zamorakian spear, you're a long way towards winning the battle. With those, a BGS, tortoise full of brews, and a mix of brews and restores in your inventory, Nomad shouldn't be too bad. I almost killed him without a BGS, and once I bought one and hit 57 with the spec, he fell easily. Be sure to use the spear on stab, as he's weak to stab attacks. Also, read up a bit about the fight -- you can avoid most of his attacks, which will save you a ton of health. If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

I do have void melee yes and I have enough for a zamorakian spear and BGS but I've heard that his attacks are magic based? Would it not be better using some mage defence armour? Jabawoki13
His attacks are magic based, until the melee part, I used black dhide, good magic defence and decent melee defence Achievement DiariesCompleted: Lumbridge, Falador, Seers, Varrock, Fremennik and Karamja Finished Hard: Ardougne Music Tracks - 703/704Nomad killed at 114 combat Slayer drops: Black Mask x2 Clue scroll rewards: Guthix Platebody - 900k, Guthix F Helm 1mil, Bandos Kite - 2.3mil

I didn't really notice a difference in how often he hit me when I tried using black dragonhide. I've seen speculation that he uses a mix of magic, ranged, and melee attacks, but that's just speculation. Either way, I didn't notice a difference in how often he hit me, but I did notice a difference in how often I hit him. It's not an easy fight (unless you have some really good stats), so you need every advantage that you can get.
