ok well i havent trained combat in over a year because i quit came back and just skilled, but now im making a pure acc, my questions are because so much stuff has changed in rs in the time i took off

 

back in the day 60-80+ range was good with msb iron arrows at fire giants or ogres, but now with crossbows and stuff like that im not to sure on were i should train my range and what equipment to use, also id like to mention im not very rich i can afford the medocre armour...

 

second question is im going to train melee, i know experiments and rock crabs use to be the place for it, now im just wondering if theres a better training spot?

 

also what quests should i do for the best pure equipment possible :). thank you

Yaks are very good in terms of pure exp for rangers/meleers but they don't profit at all so if funding is low you might want to kill fire giants for their drops every once in a while. Knifes and darts are also good ranging weapons, but they are almost impossible to buy so you'll have to make them for yourself :? .

kk well first off your probably going to want to get mith gloves. so do recipe for disaster. Your gonna need climbing boots so do death plateau. For fire giants you have to do watefall which gives a little bit of cash and some nice att and str xp. just train range with rune cross bow and mith bolts (broad if your 55 slayer) at fire giants for range xp. and stick to crabs for fast xp or go to chaos druids or flesh crawlers for xp and cash. If you want fast xp without hp soul wars is pretty nice. and thats about it.

pures can now get up to addy gloves from rfd (doing the monkey part. you can now travel to ape atoll without getting defence. just talk to the guy who takes you and he will give you 2 options)

 

training str. go to experiments or rock crabs. if your 85+ cb do smoking kills and train at mighty banshees

 

training range. mbs with iron arrows is more than enuff at fire giants. you could kill blue drags (using mith / broad bolts) for profit. pray at avys for profit. if you just want xp train with bronze/iron/steel/black knifes(what ever you can afford) at caged orges
