atticusako
I really enjoyed getting 70 magic just training on random monsters and slayer tasks. Im tempted to try for 99 magic (or as high as i can get, 85 or 90?). Now im level 70 i plan to unlock lunar and ancients. My question is should i keep training via slayer and other monsters or should i do something else? Can people please suggests monster to train on or another method that wont bore me to death :) thanks :)
vettro
If you are going to keep slaying w/magic then I suggest you buy a hexcrest when the prices drop some. It will be very useful. Tbh, alching is the best boring way to level mage. I went from 66 to 75 quite quickly. I used a laptop and when our family watched a movie together I would mostly shut the screen and just keep clicking the whole time. Mage levels easy! Big_Stingman
I have gotten to level 96 so far by high alchemy mostly. And I plan to get 99 soon enough with high alching. It's fast XP. Also, I wait for addy rock respawns while I alch, which helps a little bit with the cost. I am F2P right now, so members have other options to do while alching, such as farming. Good luck. Zaaps1
If you love combat magic so much, I encourage you to use Ancients to Ice Burst/Barrage Rock Lobsters. It's really the only way anyone should train magic, since it is fast and it actually very cheap if you take into account all the benefits, such as huge HP xp and high amount of summoning charms. Otherwise, perhaps hunt boss monsters with magic or mage a few slayer tasks, but it'll be very, very slow. Better off Alching or Plankmaking, etc. instead, then. ~It's Super Effective! Umoria
http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=high_alch_calc.htmUse this tool to see how much profit you would gain, and how much magic exp. http://www.tip.it/runescape/high_alch.php#resultsThis tool gives you a insight of profit/loss while adding the nature runes, and the things to buy. People tend to use strung yew longs for alching. They always sell on GE, and always buy easy, so the only reason why people use them, is high alch. "We had gay burglars the other night.
