Featured Replies

Ok so i am fighting Moss giants for some Def, str, att XP from 77 to 80. (and some seed drops i guess and charms XP) Should i wear a ring of life? OR a ring of wealth? ( I don't need the life one i just like wearing it and i heard ROW actually makes some drops worse :() Thank you :D

Ring of wealth, although it will hardly make a difference.

Ah ok that's what i though :( I just took a break from slayer, so hopefully i can get some half decent drops :(

Oh and sorry for the double post, but what would be the FASTEST way to get XP out of the Moss Giants? I have tons of Super sets, and a torag's set right now with a abyssal whip for ATT and DEF training.

Well Moss Giants won't give you tons of exp. Although some half decent drops will give you a bit of money.

I suggest using your whip on Lash, it's shared exp. Maybe use a super set, although you can use them on better tasks, but if you have the spare, use them for faster kills.

Maybe sell some of the pots, to get a Warrior Ring. It's not more than 600K, I just bought one myself, since the RoW really is a overrated ring. It will give you +4 to slash (wich you use when whipping the moss giants to Kingdome Come). I'm happy with it. Should bought that earlier in the game.

On Torags, well, that's up to you. Mainly, when I go monster killing, and don't need barrows, I won't. Although the cost of repair aren't that high, I can do just fine with my non-degradable set-up.

I have better uses for the armour then wasting it on monsters that won't hit high anyway.

Ya that makes sense, i probably should be using other armor XP

and if moss giants are GREAT XP what would be? I want to get all my combat (melee) stats to 80 fast.

Edit: BTW Umoria, i love your signature, that's really funny haha

Well if you want it fast, you need a monster with high HP, and little attack.

Basiclly I say: just go slayer, use the whip + defender + warrior ring and super sets and whip away.

If you don't feel like that, and if you want it fast, you shouldn't care about drops. Then go Experiments. Boring as hell, but 100 HP, and so little attack that they only hit 1 in 20 attacks...

If you do want some drops, stay at Moss Giants. Might pack some nats and fires just in case you get a drop you can alch.

But, use your super sets, and the warrior ring for faster kills.

Ok that works, and i'll just stay here for a while, or at least do the quest or w/e i need to do to get defender (still haven't yet lol)

Thank you :)

You get a defender in the Warriors Guild in Burthope. When your attack and strength are 150 together, you can enter the guild.

First, you need tokens. At least 100, before you can enter the top floor, to get to the cyclops. You earn tokens on the ground floor, by using a armour (full helmet, platebody and platelegs) on a device.

It will become a animated armour, wich you have to kill. The armour can break, but I used black, and didn't break a single time. Pick up your armour when you killed it, pick up the tokens, and start over.

When you have enough tokens, go to the topfloor, and ask the woman who is standing there to release a cyclops that drops a bronze defender. There are many cyclops, and it is totally random wich has the defender.

When you get the bronze one, go outside, show it to the woman, and she will release a cyclops wich carries a iron defender. Once you hit rune, I suggest showing it to her, so she will release another cyclops wich carries a rune defender. A spare one can be good.

This also gives you cb experience, so using your whip on lash, will get you some exp. So you spend your time usefull, get exp, wich means less time at Moss Giants.

Happy whipping
