February 20, 201016 yr If you're more interested in herb exp then just plant the herb that gets the best return, sell those, and buy the ingredients; but if you want to DIY then obviously plant the highest herb you can and the highest pots you can from that. Best idea. For farming xp, you obviously want to pick your best tree that you are comfortable spending money on. For herblore it gets a bit more tricky, but prayer potions are often considered the best potion since it is the cheapest, although if you want speed you will need to use other potions (however, prayer potions are pretty fast already at about 180k xp/hr).
