just wondering if there was a way to have both Silverlight and Darklight in your possession at the same time ...

I know I can goto Sir Prysin and buy Darklight for 1k, but how (or can I ?) "re-obtain" Silverlight

I've looked it up for you, it can be done in two ways:

 

1. Have 2 silverlights when completing Shadow of the Storm (one in bank and one to kill Agrith-Naar)

2. Go to Sir Prysin when you don't have membership credit anymore and ask him for a silverlight. (I'm unsure if you can just go to an F2P world and do this)

Isn't there an option to ask Sir Prysin for the silverlight?

there is an option ... you say something like "Can i have Silverlight instead of Darklight"

he just tells you "NO, Silverlight is Darklight. It's been tainted with the blood of a demon" (or words to that effect)

thus - you can ask, but can't get

 

Shadow of the Storm completed long, long time ago (same with Demon slayer) ... and no longer have either sword (just wanted to display both in POH)

LOL ... when asking for the Darklight (on F2P) you are told, "how can I give you a member item, we're on a non-member world"

you respond with "oh yeah, i guess that's a good point"
