Championfurydelta123
I heard that using 3 pouches was more efficient than 4 in runecrafting as you get more exp and money per hour. May I ask which pouch does that leave out? ty in advance By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius
Hedgehog
Leave out the medium pouch. If you use the medium versus the small, you will store 27 essence, which is more than your inventory can hold, forcing you to click the altar 3 times per run, which will significantly slow your runs down. Kidd_Varrow
You leave out the small pouch and store 25 essence in your giant, large, and medium pouches. That will leave 2 empty spaces in one of your pouches, but if you bring any more, it will add time to your run as hedgehog said.

You won't have to empty out any of the pouches more than once, and you will craft 49 essence per run, which is the most efficient.
Championfurydelta123
k ty i get what u mean now cuz if u leave out small u get 1 extra ess rather than if u leave out medium By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius

Hedgehog
k ty i get what u mean now cuz if u leave out small u get 1 extra ess rather than if u leave out mediumNoSmall + Large + Giant = 24 Essence/RunMedium + Large + Giant = 27 Essence/RunBy bringing the medium pouch, you pack an extra 3 essence into each run, but those 3 require a lot more time to use. After you craft your first set of essence, you will have 24 spaces free, the other 4 are taken by your pouches and runes. It is much quicker to empty 24 essence, craft them, and bank, than it is to empty 24 essence, craft them, empty another 3 essence, craft them, and bank. I would keep a few energy potions in your bank, just in case, but you probably won't need them. If you do, withdraw it and your essence, fill your pouches, refill your inventory, and drink the potion on the way to the altar. You will save a lot of time, which is worth a lot more than the 9 or so xp you get from a rune.

Championfurydelta123
woot for once i pwn someones brains on tif since i will be using 3 pouches and the only reason i am taking off a pouch is to save 1 bank click and 1 altar click therefore i would only have 25 esscence in my inventory and my pouches will only hold that ammount of ess not 27 as that would ruin the whole point and i would just use all pouches btw this is response to hedgehogs quote but i dunno the quote system now :/ By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius

I forgot to account for the space taken up by the runes you craft. To quote someone's post, click the 'reply' button at the bottom right corner of their post.
