Can some tell me were the fastest place to tan d hides is???

Al-Kharid is the most economical -- if for someone reason you're willing to pay more, Canifis is faster, but more expensive -- it's not worth it to use Canifis to tan.

Last time I tried the skills necklace it teleported me outside the guild, forcing me to run inside then up the stairs. It doesn't seem worth the hassle and seemed slower to me, but that might just be me.

are you sure it's not worth it to use canifis?

quick look at green dhides and I see 267 profit per hide @ alkarid vs 242 profit per hide @ canifis.

I'd imagine the shorter run would make a difference.

 

No comment on crafting guild method though.

Tanning at Canifis would need to be >10% faster in order to break even, and I don't know if it is. It's not like it's that far in Al-Kharid in the first place. I don't have the means to test it at the moment, so someone else would have to.

Are you planning on crafting these hides or selling them? Because if the former is true, then your best off tanning in alkharid and crafting your hides on the way back to the bank.

45 tiles vs 40 tiles

once you factor in the time spent trading the tanner, killer would be correct. Alkarid > canifis.
