Fairly certain tentcle pool cant be had without the cage, not sure on the others apart from rocknar can be cage free. My current problem is that I have a wooden cage and a flame pit. I am unable to build a better cage, for some reason... You have to REMOVE the old cage before you can build the new one.If your floor trap CANNOT be cageless, it will also HAVE to be removed when you remove the old cage. Fire pits and tentacle pools are very popular to have without cages.As for the cage question, just try and see what happens if you remove it. If it removes the floor too, ah well, you lost 150k.
