How does Prestige work???

Ok so im lvl 17 in Dungeon and im up to floor 7 but when i reset and start back from lvl 1 i dont get any prestige...what am i doing wrong??? Im in a solo party doing this on my own atm and im majorly confused on why im not getting any prostige.

If you reset after 7 floors, then you will have a prestige score of 7 until you complete 8 floors.

 

You might've acidentally resetted after floor 1 and lost your saved prestige score. Or something else happened? I don't know.

As far as I can tell, you get prestige for floors you HAVEN'T done. When you reset, you make it so you've done NO floors. I haven't done this yet myself, but I've read on the RSOF that the only way to raise your prestige level is to complete ALL the levels you can (up to whatever prestige you want, generally the highest :P) and then reset. You're prestige should stay there then. I don't think you can lower your prestige level, but then again, I haven't tried. When choosing floors, there will be check marks on the floors you have completed.

Thank you both, i tried resetting again and now im getting around 250-325 xp for floor 1 and 2 (lvl 6 prestige) so im going to complete 7, 8, and 9(provided i get the right lvl for this 1) then reset again.

Also, keep in mind that the prestige multiplier is based on your previous progress number.

 

Here's an example.

You do Floors 1 through 5.

Reset.

Your "previous progress" is 5.

Your prestige multiplier becomes 5.

 

In other words, the more floors you unlock, the higher your prestige multiplier will be.
