so my brother went to some rs help site and downloaded an inscreen help guide and it just changed his password to something diff, i think it will change the recoveries i i thought there was a way to change the recoveries in 24 hrs am i wrong or is this true?

Let me stress to both you and your brother that only an idiot would download random things from random sites.

 

As for RuneScape, ANY and ALL third-party soft-ware is declared against the rules by Jagex, so don't touch them.

 

 

There is a way recovery questions can be changd within 24 hours, yes, and if that program does that it's too bad for your brother. I'm sorry to sound harsh here, but it's his own fault.

 

I would advise you to post on the RuneScape official forums, in the contact us section -> forum help.

 

That forum may not be meant for such issues, but it would ensure quick Jagex awareness if everything has in fact been changed. Of course first you should wait and see if the recovery does any good before posting on the forums,
