New Combat Skills Info

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Im xXDreamerXx. Im new to this forum, but ive been using tip.it since i first created my account on Runescape, and i have found it very helpful.

I would like to contribute some information for the skill calculators on the website, about some of the combat skills.

Attack, Strength, Defense, and Ranged all get .5xp for 1 damage (since the update, where everything has been multiplied by ten).

you can use this information, along with your hiscores list and your xp=? level calculators and your database on all the runescape monsters for the hp to create a calculator for this.

i realize it takes lots of hard work, but it would be very helpful to many users.

Also, say for example you hit a 150. 0.5 x 150= 75, but it rounds down, so it would be 74. This may be needed if you do decide to make the calculator.

I hope you find my contributed information of use. I might not be able to check the forums all the time, so if u have any questions or comments, please e-mail me at [email protected].

Thanks,

xXDreamerXx

It doesn't make sense 75 being rounded down to 74, there are no decimals involved o_O

Actually you get .4 xp per one damage not .5 before the update it was 4 xp per damage. And I am pretty sure they have already fixed the calculators for that.

Thank you very much for your input, xXDreamerXx! Are you referring to a calculator similar to the Fighting Calculator and the Ranged Calculator? These calculators can help you calculate your xp gains based on what monsters you kill using the various available techniques.

Sorry,

I didnt know that you already had something like that. The only thing i used was the combat calculator, and it really helped.

How i know its .5xp per 1 damage is that i hit a 1 on an ankou, and the xp counter jagex added said it was .5.

Thanks for all your responses,

Dreamer.

I'm pleased we have what you were referring to. Thanks again for your contributions, we always love to hear user input on ideas to improve the content. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me.
