roanlo
Hope i posted this in right section. I'm looking for some manikan shiloutte pieces. The 2D kind which is sometime used as a magnet. I'm asking for the exact same thing as the 3D ones where you can move around the body bits, except all i'm asking this time; is for a 2D version. here's an example of what i'm after: ( I have all the body pieces for this one)Now i need something like a priest or a monk (some kind of robe with hood). So if there's some form of that on the Internet, or even some instructions on how to make a silhouette like that into a robe (I have Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI and a full set of a NORMAL human manikin *see picture*) If anyone could please tell me on how to do that, it'd be brilliant, as i'm in desperate need for it for my art project. Sy_Accursed
Its not exactly complex: Make each body segment, join them together with those pins whihc have 2 "blades" that u split outwards once u pushed it thru.Tada moving figure Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
roanlo
I'm doing this on the computer. There are no pins. it's individual pieces which i'm rotating/resizing.And i'm asking how i can make a Robe/Holy figure type thing. Or even better, an actual template for a manikin wearing a robe or is a priest/monk.
Sy_Accursed
Well them make each segment in its own layer. And robe/holy figure type draw the outline of a robe/holy figure. roanlo
That's why i was asking for a template. I'm not the best drawer, nor have the best hand-coordination with a mouse/pen tool (I just make my lines crooked or the wrong angle ect). If you knew any actual instructions (website perhaps?) that's the kind of thing i'm after.
badphooeybad
So, something like this? All you have to do is go into paint and use the pencil tool to somewhat trace around the figure. Of course this is a little 5 minute thing but you get the point.
roanlo
Maybe i should have explained what i am actually doing. I am making a movie (stop motion) which is made using a large selection of snapshots of the manikin peices. This means the manikins will move; by slightly changing the angle of the pieces each time (parts of the pieces in the picture) Now despite what badphooeybad was the general idea of what i need, i can't use that mostly for individual robe pieces for body parts. If i do your way badphooeybad, how can i get the exact same angles/lengths of the robes on each body part? badphooeybad
Well, you could still use my idea, just make a different robe part for each different piece of the body. Take an arm for example, and just trace around it, then instead of the arm silhouette, you'd have an arm in a robe silhouette.
