Does it boost damage by a lot or just accuracy?

just accuracy, unfortunately.

 

When I drink a strong magic potion (25 levels), my max hit increases by around 60.

Damn, that sucks. I personally think it wouldn't be too imbalanced if it boosted max hit too by 75%, since you would still have to go through the hassle of making the pot and the runes.
