Allignment in Runescape

Featured Replies

This topic is about RPG's having alignment and Runescape not having alignment. Well here are the basic Alignments and Alignment Attributes that i think should be added to Runescape:

first of all your alignment would affect your combat, prayer, and magic styles, Like evil would unlock evil spells, and or fighting techniques.

Chaotic Evil- Chaotic evil has an advantage for raising and using the dead

to your advantage, Chaotic Evil also means that your prayer is at a high negative and that you can only worship Zamorak, eliminating Guthix and Saradomin, It also means that your spells weaken other peoples prayer level to level 5.

Evil-Evil Players worship Zamorak but are on there way to Chaos; they are an apprentice they can choose to go back to good or be neutral, then again their magic is much powerful than Chaotic Evil and they can only raise the dead to get chaotic evil points, although raising the dead drains prayer by 5 levels, they are basically black knights

Neutral- Worship no god, they have an advantage to thieving abilities, as well as ranging, no magic in store for this allignment

Good-Worship Saradomin(of course) Magic is maintained constantly, with the ability to shield others from darkness(after you become a paladin) Spells vary but mostly used for powerful bolt spells, Saradomin can disown you if you leave his ways, and you will never be able to worship him again, if you do then watch out for curses.

This is basically all that i have so far, let me know if you like it or not :D

yeah this is a good idea but first neutral is guthix second i think that you should choose is you want to be evil or good first then you should choose if you want to be a ranger, mage, or warrior so that way it's not just on what skill you like best sound good?

You have the right, and people have the right to hate you for it.

Thus, the circle of life is complete.

I see what you mean, as i said this is all i have so far, but I appreciate the incite

It should be affected by in-game actions, not by choice.

Chaos in itself is not evil in anyway. You can be chaotic and good (rebelling against authority but doing good things, a la Robin Hood), and you can be lawful and evil (upholding tradition and the status quo, for your own ends, a la Hitler).
