April 30, 201016 yr So, I'm trying to install a Wireless LAN PCI Adapter to my computer, so I can play in my lounge, connected to my new high-definition TV. Problem is, I need a wireless internet connection. I've taken the Wireless LAN driver from my dad's computer. I've placed it in my computer, and it has detected our modem nearby, but it cannot connect. I'm sure there was a CD installation for this, but I don't think I have it atm. Any bright ideas? April 30, 201016 yr Did you install the driver? if you did, did you try a power cycle on your router/modem?
April 30, 201016 yr Author Well, I would say I "installed" the driver. I just slotted the driver into one of the slots on the motherboard, and my computer automatically identified it. May 6, 201016 yr Different types of wireless router and modem available in a market if you have to install router or modem so you can just check it out for installation video in you tub this site having a lots of installation video.
