Neos_Matrix
So, I'm trying to install a Wireless LAN PCI Adapter to my computer, so I can play in my lounge, connected to my new high-definition TV. Problem is, I need a wireless internet connection. I've taken the Wireless LAN driver from my dad's computer. I've placed it in my computer, and it has detected our modem nearby, but it cannot connect. I'm sure there was a CD installation for this, but I don't think I have it atm. Any bright ideas? Sbrideau
Did you install the driver? if you did, did you try a power cycle on your router/modem?
Neos_Matrix
Well, I would say I "installed" the driver. I just slotted the driver into one of the slots on the motherboard, and my computer automatically identified it. (Sorry, I'm not a computer genius or whatever =/ ) Barrows Items: 1x Dharok's Platelegs, 1x Veracs's Plateskirt, 1x Dharok's Greataxe, 2x Torag's Platelegs, 1x Akrisae's War Mace, 1x Ahrim's Robeskirt, 3x Akrisae's Robetop, 1x Guthan's Warspear, 1x Akrisae's Robeskirt, 1x Torag's Helm, 2x Verac's Brassard, 1x Karil's Pistol Crossbow
shawn3090
The driver is the software that comes with the hardware. It is what Windows (or Linux) uses to run the hardware. Simply putting in the card is not installing the driver. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy.
