Ok all I screwed up, I started Monkey Madness at some point and then never finished it. How do I return to Ape Atol when I dont have that teleport available yet? I have tried restarting the quest at the beginning but that doesnt work.

u talk to the guy that take u to the hanger ttalk to the gnome pilot there then ur on crash island then take the boat back

Yeah, you must go to the Grand Tree, first floor above the ground level, go east and talk to the guy to get to the hangar. Then on crash island talk to the other guy and go to Ape Atoll.
