I am getting 99 smithing one way or the other.The question is whether I should superheat gold or simply smelt gold to get 99. Using goldsmith gauntlets of course. Normal smelting would cost me about 21m for 99 and will take about 110 hours.Superheating would cost me about 31m for 99 smithing and 94 mage(from 81) and will take about 60 hours using 1800 casts/hour.
