What is best for me?

Featured Replies

Hello there,

I've been wondering what's best for me to use when killing monsters, slayer etc.

I've recenty bought a bandos chestplate, and I wonder if it's worth it.

I would like your opinions on the following top and leg gear.

Bcp-Tassys

Bcp-Verac's skirt (I'll buy a fury when if using this)

Fighter torso-Tassys (I'll buy a fury when using this)

What's the best for me?

Thanks in advance,

Achoo

Bandos is in some sense optimal, but realistically insignificant compared to most other improvements you could get. Would be better if you went for cheapish gear and focused on buyable skills first.

Look at it this way, for the cost of full bandos and fury, you can buy 84 herblore.

Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.

Buy in this order:

Fury

Berserker Ring

Bandos Chestplate

Bandos Tassets

If you already have fighter torso, get tassets before chestplate.

I already have a Fighter Torso, and I read that a Warrior Ring is actually better than a berserker ring.

I probably won't waste my money on skills like Herblore, I know that you can make extremes and all that, but I may get that when I have better ways of making money than Fishing.

Berserker is better on monsters that are weak. EVERY slayer monster falls in that catgeory.

And that for like what, a few million less?

There have been major debates over the validity of that test on these forums. Berserker wins almost every time.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Where is that debate. Qeltar's results are pretty clear actually. I'd love to see some more people testing this though.

I'd call the results strange when in 1 case, he actually records more kills without a ring.

I believe it was a berserker vs. warrior ring thread in Help & Advice. If I remember correctly, Qeltar's results were a victim of small sample size.

that test suffers from terribly small sample size. Zarfot's guide says zerker>warrior, and I'm fairly sure he has more experience with it the Qeltar. Although with most tasks being in kurdals dungeon, Id just stick with the warrior, as the 4m extra isn't worth it for 4-ish tasks.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

You guys convinced me that a Berserker is better, and now that I look at Qeltar's results, I see that a Berserker is probably better, but I'll stick with a Warrior, until I have a spare 5m.

I am going to sell my Bcp and buy a Fury when it is lower.

Thanks for the advice!

Fury won't go lower, better buy it now.

And bladewing, you are saying an onyx ring is better for kbd and miths?
