May 28, 201016 yr I always use google chrome because it is extremely fast and low CPU usage. When I play RS, I make one window for it and one window for everything else. They are always side by side. However, when I click off the RS window (for anything else not just the other chrome window) the RS screen flashes white and steals focus. I tried turning off this option in tweak ui (I am running XP), but it does not help the java applet. RS started doing this ever since jagex made that flashing cursor that you can click to edit your insertion point. Even if I maximize any other window it comes up at random times. Does anyone have a solution to this? [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic."-Joseph Stalin
October 28, 201213 yr This is the only topic on Google for "runescape steals focus" that I could find.It has become a serious issue for me, as it is not letting me pause YouTube movies on my second monitor unless I spam-click in the window.Or when I try to search for information or find a guide on tip.it, runescape steals focus back right away and I accidentally type my search query into the chat box instead. Happens far too often,Additionally, Runescape keeps stealing focus during loading. Multiple times. Really annoying as I don't wish to see the loading screen at all.
October 29, 201213 yr Not having this issue on FireFox... You may want to try switching browsers. ;) Otherwise, send a bug report to Jagex. At least they can go after both the developers of Java and those of Google Chrome. :ugeek: ~D. V. "Just a thought..."
