Spam report button

Featured Replies

I know people are gonna call me a hypocrite for this but spamers are ruining runescape especially in the higher populated worlds. One day I was trying to sell my r2h in Varrock and they came out of no where going : @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

and so on. I have a solution to this. There should be a spam report button. It would be right next to the report abuse button and when you click on it you have to put what world your in, what time it is, and where you are. Then when jagex receives this report they can look at what happened at 5 mins before and after the time you put in. Then jagex can spot the spammers and ban them on an amount of time based on what they are saying. Anyone think this is a good idea?

or add it into the exisiting report button as a new rule or PUT THEM IN YOUR IGNORE LIST.

that works :)

If the spamming's really disruptive, you can report the person for "abusive language". If Jagex gets such a report which shows the person has said the same thing for like 20 times the last minute they'll take care of him.

There actually does excist a solution for it.

Look carefully to your friends list, next to your happy icon there's a sad icon. And if that doesn't work, there's something called ' report abuse '
